우리가 바라는 것은 무엇입니까?

우리가 바라는 것은 무엇입니까? 

우리는 이 땅의 주인이기를 원합니다.
우리가 원하는 기대와 욕구가 실현될 수 있는 
그런 보다 아름답고, 고결하고, 품위가 넘치는 온전한 세상이 되기를 원합니다. 

학교는 많고 감옥은 적은, 
책은 많고 무기는 없는, 
학문은 크고 악덕은 없어지는, 
여가는 많고 탐욕은 줄어드는,
정의는 넘치고 보복은 사라지는
그런 세상이 되기를 원합니다.  
정말로 
어린이는 보다 즐겁게
여성은 보다 아름답게
남성은 보다 고상하게 
살아갈 수 있는 기회가 보다 많이 주어지기를 원하고 바라고 있습니다.
